Fort, Seafield and Wallacetown Community Council

Community Councils were set up in 1973 and bridge the gap between the community and elected repesentatives. They express the view of the community and have a direct contact with the council; the council comprise people who care about their locality and those living in it.

As well as representing the community we campaign on local subjects that can affect our area. All public events and planning applications are scrutinised by us. We have a report from the police each month.

Our area is shown on the map. In particular we cover the town centre.

All our details are in our Facebook page — Fort, Seafield & Wallacetown Community Council

We meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7pm in Memorial Hall, Grammar School, Fort Street, Ayr. Please come along and either watch or put any concerns to us.

Contact us or any member, either via this link or through any of our members page.
